These three Belgian Malinois sniffer puppies are anything but ordinary. They shivered as they arrived to the Russian city of Yakutsk on Monday in minus 30 degree Fahrenheit frost as a gift from a laboratory in Seoul, South Korea to the North-Eastern Federal University in Russia's Yakutsk. These three one-year-old pups were cloned from the DNA of the best sniffer dog and became the first ever cloned dogs brought to Russia.

Images show the aftermath of a missile that hit near a kindergarten in Kramatorsk, eastern Ukraine. The missile carved a huge crater in front of the kindergarten, which had some 250 pupils and 70 staff before the war broke out. Debris from the strike, which sparked a small fire in the building and smashed windows, was strewn around the playground and lay near colourful murals on a school building. IMAGES
During a briefing in Kyiv, Hans Kluge, the World Health Organization Europe regional director, warns of a "life-threatening" winter to come for millions of Ukrainians after a series of devastating Russian attacks on the country's energy infrastructures.
