Teasers Released For "What We Do in the Shadows" TV Series

Fans of 2014's "What We Do in the Shadows" mockumentary are in for an early Halloween treat! The instant cult classic by Jemaine Clement and Taika Waititi has released teasers for its TV series. On Halloween day, FX released its official first footage from TV series adaptation. The New Zealand film was a horror comedy about vampires living together in Wellington. The highly anticipated TV series will be an American-set adaptation. It stars Matt Berry of "Toast of London," Kayvan Novak, Harvey Guillen and Natasia Demetriou. The series will also include appearances from Doug Jones, Beanie Feldstein, and Craig Burnatowski. If the teasers are any indication, it will continue the film's unique style and tone. The first shows one of the vampires having a unique approach to paying at the grocery store A second shows the ensemble preparing for virgins to arrive. "What We Do In The Shadows" premieres this Spring on FX.
