Chris Brown Arrested In Paris For Aggravated Rape

CNN reports Chris Brown was accused of aggravated rape and drug violations in Paris this week. Brown has been in the news over the past decade for several high-profile assault cases. In 2009, Brown violently beat his then-girlfriend, singer Rihanna. The police report at the time said Brown "continued to punch [Rihanna] in the face with his right hand while steering the vehicle with his left hand." Brown pleaded guilty to a felony assault charge and received five years probation. He was then accused of threatening a woman with a gun at his Tarzana, California home in 2016. Brown's ex-girlfriend, actress Karrueche Tran, obtained a restraining order against him in 2017, alleging he threatened her with violence.
