Wall Street Is Rising For A 5th Consecutive Day

According to Reuters, MSCI’s all country world index ended the day trading up, after retreating into negative territory. The global gauge of stocks also marked a fifth consecutive day of gains, joined by the stocks on Wall Street. By the closing bell on Jan. 10th, the Dow Jones Industrial Average gained 49-points, rising to 23,928. The Nasdaq Composite added about 12-points on the day, while the S&P 500 rose about 5-points. Although markets on Wall Street were about flat, they ended the day trading up for a fifth consecutive session.
