Facebook Deletes Hundreds Of Pages Related To Russian News Agency

Description

According to SF Gate, 500 account pages were deleted for “coordinated inauthentic behavior.” 364 of the pages were traced back to the Russian news agency Sputnik. According to Facebook, the “Troll network” originated in Russia and operated in the Baltics. Facebook adds that combined, the now-deleted pages attracted more than 1 million followers.
