Costco May Launch A Streaming Service In The Future

Description

Costco may be developing a streaming service. The warehouse retail giant is rumored to be considering creating a service similar to Netflix. Mark Greenberg, a TV industry veteran recently met with the membership-based retailer about "building out a service geared toward average Americans". According to Business Insider, late last year another report circulated saying Costco was considering the jump into the video-streaming space. Sources said that the streaming service would be available as a perk for "certain customers". Costco has not released an official statement regarding the possibility.
