The White House says the US is "definitely not pushing" the Haitian Prime Minister Ariel Henry to resign, after Washington said he should speed up a political transition. "That is not what we're doing, but we have underscored that now is the time to finalize a political court to help set Haiti on a path to a better future. The president of South Africa, Cyril Ramaphosa, announces that "the governing party, the African National Congress (ANC), has taken that decision that it is prudent that South Africa should pull out of the ICC". Ramaphosa says the decision, which follows a weekend meeting of the African National Congress (ANC), was reached "largely" because of what is perceived as the court's unfair treatment of certain countries. The ICC issued an arrest warrant against Putin in March meaning Pretoria, due to host the Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa bloc summit this year, would have to detain him on arrival.
