The new sports car is being launched as a Coupé and Cabriolet, and generates 283 kW (385 PS) from its 3.0-litre, six-cylinder boxer engine with biturbo charging. The Carrera is the entry-level 911 model and offers 11 kW (15 PS) more power output than its predecessor did. It shares its premium-quality standard features virtually unchanged from the 911 Carrera S. These include the high-quality interior with 10.9-inch touchscreen display, comprehensive connectivity and also innovative assistance systems like the Porsche Wet Mode that ensures even safer handling on wet roads. The Porsche 911 Carrera is distinguished by smaller dimensioned wheels and brakes and the individual tailpipe covers on the exhaust system.As with the Carrera S model, the engine, chassis and brakes are designed for exclusive sportiness. The 3.0-litre, six-cylinder boxer engine of the Porsche 911 Carrera generates power largely through the smaller wheel diameters of the turbines and compressors that feature in the new turbochargers. Power transmission is handled by the new eight-speed dual-clutch transmission (PDK). This enables the Porsche 911 Carrera Coupé to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 4.2 seconds, with a top speed of 293 km/h. The optional Sport Chrono Package shaves a further 0.2 seconds off the sprint. The combined fuel consumption (NEDC-correlated) of the Coupé is 9.0 l/100 km, while the Cabriolet records this figure as 9.2 l/100 km.

Porsche presents the special edition 911 Carrera GTS Le Mans Centenaire Edition, exclusively available on the French market. Pay homage to the centenary of the 24 Hours of Le Mans and commemorate the history of Porsche at the historic Circuit de la Sarthe.The 911 Carrera GTS Le Mans Centenaire Edition is inspired by two winning cars: the Porsche 356 SL and the Porsche 911 GT1 '98. By reinterpreting its design elements, the result is a modern sports car for the gentleman driver.The Automobile Club de l'Ouest (ACO) has also played an important role in the realization of this special edition. “The history of the 24 Hours of Le Mans is closely linked to that of Porsche, a prestigious brand that is celebrating its 75th anniversary this year. This special edition is a fantastic tribute to the most important endurance race in the world”, says Pierre Fillon, President of ACO. “We want to thank Porsche for their commitment to endurance racing and for continuing to give car enthusiasts something to dream about.”The special edition is based on the 480 horsepower (353 kW) 911 Carrera GTS. A turbocharged six-cylinder boxer engine, together with the standard sports chassis, offers characteristic Porsche performance. Customers can choose between a 7-speed manual transmission or the 8-speed PDK transmission.
Porsche is adding to the 911 family with the lightweight sports car, the 911 Carrera T. The letter “T” stands for touring and describes models that offer a purist driving experience with exceptionally sporty equipment. The standard 911 T features a seven-speed manual gearbox. An eight-speed PDK is also available. The rear seats are omitted. Featuring a PASM sports suspension with 10-mm-lowering and reduced insulation, the new 911 Carrera T is the epitome of purism and exhilarating driving pleasure. You can feel it on winding mountain and country roads – and you can hear it too. The sound of the six-cylinder boxer engine is now an even more striking presence in the interior.The new 911 Carrera T slots in between the 911 Carrera and the 911 Carrera S. The Carrera T takes its biturbo engine with 283 kW (385 PS) and 450 Newton metres of torque, and which accelerates the sports car from zero to 100 km/h in 4.5 seconds and to a top speed of 291 km/h, from the entry-level 911. The standard equipment from the Carrera S with a manual transmission is augmented by Porsche Torque Vectoring (PTV) with a mechanical rear differential lock. The 911 Carrera T also comes standard with the Sport Chrono package and the PASM sports suspension (-10 mm) – features that only the Carrera T offers in combination with the 385-PS engine. This is available as an option in the 911 Carrera S. On request, the Carrera T can also be ordered with the optional rear-axle steering, which is also normally reserved for models from the Carrera S and up.
