Smartphones: Moto G7 Vs. Nokia 7.1

Description

According to Digital Trends.com, "Any discussion of the best budget smartphones is going to include entries from Motorola and HMD Global, which makes Nokia phones. The Moto G line has been [their] default recommendation for years, but recent Nokia phones have dethroned Motorola." The Nokia 7.1 has the slightly more powerful Snapdragon 636 processor.

    WhatsApp is growing and revising its strategy, and some operating systems will no longer be part of its journey. By the end of the year, WhatsApp will ditch support for BlackBerry (including BB10 OS), Nokia S40, Nokia Symbian S60, Android 2.1 and 2.2, and Windows Phone 7.1. Newer versions of Windows Phone and Windows 10 Mobile will still enjoy WhatsApp support, although Android and iOS rule the mobile market. The news comes after WhatsApp celebrated its seventh anniversary, and the company took advantage of the occasion to look back on what it has achieved and think about what it plans to do next.

  • PG&E To Pay $1 Billion For Wildfire Damage

    (CNN)A utility blamed for igniting deadly wildfires that killed dozens in California has agreed to pay $1 billion in damages to local governments for blazes linked to its power lines, poles and other equipment. Pacific Gas and Electric will pay the funds to more than a dozen state public entities for losses from the deadly blazes sparked by its equipment. The hardest-hit town of Paradise, which was left in charred ruins, will get $270 million to resolve wildfire claims. "The settlement from PG&E will ensure a strong foundation from which to recover from the devastation of the Camp Fire," the statement said.
