“Supergirl” co-stars Melissa Benoist and Chris Wood announced their engagement on Instagram. Benoist showed off her engagement ring with the caption: “yes yes yes it will always be yes.” According to Comicbook.com, the couple met for the first time on the set of “Supergirl.” Benoist was previously married to “Glee” co-star Blake Jenner. Citing “irreconcilable differences” the Benoist filed for divorce in 2016 and it was finalized in 2017.

As for the confusion about when the nupitals actually got traded: Thomas previously explained her cultural "traditional ceremony" as such: "My mom's a Kadazan, so it's almost like Native American of America, but she's from the island of Borneo. We wore the traditional outfits, [and] we had, like, a shaman and a medicine-man do all of the blessings." Gustin added this in that same interview: "We technically did, you know, a shaman did a ceremony in front of a group of people. Technically we are, like, pretty married.
