U.S.-China Trade Talks Will Continue Next Week In Washington

Talks between China and the United States to resolve their trade war will resume next week in Washington. Reuters reports representatives from both countries this week said they made progress in discussions. The White House is still standing by its March 1 deadline for reaching a deal with China. If the deadline is not met, the US is set to raise tariffs on certain Chinese goods White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders said in a statement on Friday the two economic superpowers “will continue working on all outstanding issues in advance of the March 1, 2019, deadline.
