Macron Rips Anti-Semitic Protesters

Description

Paris (CNN)French President Emmanuel Macron has condemned anti-Semitic abuse by a group of "yellow vest" protesters, after a well-known philosopher was verbally attacked at a rally in Paris on Saturday. Insults including "dirty zionist," "f***ing Islamophobe" and "f*** your mother" were hurled at at Finkelkraut, while less hostile activists walked him away from the demonstration and behind police lines. Les injures antisémites dont il a fait l'objet sont la négation absolue de ce que nous sommes et de ce qui fait de nous une grande nation.
