Trump Edges Close To Border Wall Deal

Description

Bloomberg News reports President Donald Trump is nearing a border deal that would prevent another government shutdown. According to a White House insider, Trump will sign the legislation and then use his executive authority to fund additional border measures. Continuing fighting over details as the legislation is being written may delay the release of text and put off voting until Thursday. A tentative accord reached Monday night provides just $1.375 billion for 55 new miles of fencing in Texas.
