The new Mazda MX-30 makes no compromises: Despite the locally emission-free electric drive, customers enjoy the driving pleasure that is typical of the brand. Snapchat locked President Donald Trump out of his account. The company shut down Trump's account on Wednesday, during the violent insurrection at the US Capitol. A pro-Trump mob broke into the Capitol building on Wednesday and four people died as a result of the violence. Snapchat had stopped promoting Trump's account back in June 2020 due to his comments during anti-police brutality protests. According to Business Insider, Facebook and Twitter also suspended Trump's accounts as well.
The new MX-30 introduces all-electric drive technology to the Mazda range. Called e-Skyactiv, the drive system's combination of electric motor and 35.5kWh lithium-ion battery equips the MX30 with a uniquely smooth, quiet and seamless all-electric driving experience and a range of 200km (WLTP combined), far exceeding the average daily drive of European customers.The MX-30's ' Human Modern' styling concept and Freestyle centre pillar-less doors break new ground for the beautiful, handcrafted forms of Kodo design. The interior features a floating centre console incorporating Mazda's first touch-screen air-conditioning control panel, and unique materials designed to minimize environmental impact - door trim using fibres made from recycled plastic bottles and cork harvested from the bark of trees without felling.Combined with the MX-30’s inherently smooth all-electric driving behaviour, the adoption of electric G-Vectoring Control Plus (e-GVC Plus) results in even greater refinement of the Mazda driving experience.The MX-30 features an enhanced suite of i-Activsense features. And despite adopting freestyle doors with no centre pillar, its bodyshell combines high strength - including a carefully designed structure to protect the high-voltage battery - with efficient energy absorption for excellent collision safety performance.
Quibi, the $2-billion streaming service, has died. The company was founded by Disney (DIS) and DreamWorks alumnus Jeffrey Katzenberg and former Hewlett Packard and eBay CEO Meg Whitman. The business model was centered around people watching 7 to 10 minute episodes of original programs on their phones. The entire service was built around people watching small bites of entertainment while out and about on their phones. Quibi was not available for TV or Roku - just phones. But, when the global pandemic hit, people stayed at home and watched streamers on their TVs. Why did the company fail? "Because the idea itself wasn't strong enough to justify a standalone streaming service or because of our timing."
