Google Still Tracking People's Locations Even If Told Not To

According to Digital Trends, Google is tracking your location — even when you tell it not to. Findings from a new investigation prove that many Google services on both Android and iPhones store location data — regardless whether or not privacy settings say otherwise. The report from the Associated Press, which was originally confirmed by computer science researchers at Princeton University, has now been acknowledged by Google itself. The internet giant says in a statement, "There are a number of different ways that Google may use location to improve people’s experience, including: Location History, Web and App Activity, and through device-level Location Services. We provide clear descriptions of these tools, and robust controls so people can turn them on or off, and delete their histories at any time.”
