Aretha Franklin Will Be Having Private Funeral For Friends And Family

Singer Aretha Franklin died in her Detroit home from pancreatic cancer at the age of 76. According to Channel24, her funeral will be held in Detroit on August 30th. The funeral will be limited to Franklin’s friends and family at the Greater Grace Temple. Public viewings will be August 28-29 at the Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History. Her tomb will be at Woodlawn Cemetery in Detroit, along with other deceased family members.
