Startup Raising $750 million to Sell Robot- Made Pizzas

Zume Pizza, a startup founded in 2015, is using robotics and artificial intelligence to make pizza quicker than its competitors. Their machines press mounds of dough, squirt and spread sauce, and lift pizzas in and out of the oven, in a fraction of the time that it would take for humans to make the same task. SoftBank is proposing to invest up to $750 million in Zume, which could help create technology for other restaurants that want to use their technology.
