A Russian pensioner named Gennadii Valyaev drove his SsangYong Actyon SUV off the streets of Saint Petersburg and down into one of the city’s metro entrances on Wednesday, apparently just to "see if it would fit." A smiling Valyaev cranked up his music to make the most of the acoustics in the underpass while commuters snapped photos of the ridiculous situation. Emergency workers have removed the offending vehicle and the Petersburg Prosecutor’s Office has launched an investigation.
A Moscow mum appeared to be having snow much fun last weekend as she struggled through the recent record snowfall, doing what appear to be lunges in a comical attempt to push her baby through the powder. Witnesses could not help but admire the determination of paramedics in Russia’s Komi Republic on Saturday, January 6 as they saw what they thought were paramedics desperately trying to attend a call out, despite their ambulance losing a rear wheel along the way. A Russian man who left his car on a hill in Penza during a snow storm was forced to chase it down the street after it rolled away last Tuesday. It's no wonder that this monster hill is known by locals as the Bewitched Mountain. We weren't able to get footage of how the car came to a stop, but something tells us that's probably for the best.

The owner of the bovine lost sight of the animal, which allowed him to sneak away from the herd. A dog belonging to the cowherd gave chase and also ran onto the field.

Beer yoga is basically exactly what it sounds like - people meet up in a yoga class and drink beers while practicing yoga positions. Of course, the participants might get a little tipsy and off balance, so it's a common sight to see people falling over, especially while trying for the more advanced positions. Russian Yoga Teacher Marina Vovchenko leads a class of about 25 people in 'beer yoga' sessions from her Moscow studio. People signing up to her yoga class can bring their own beer or buy some bottles which are sold on the spot. This unorthodox style of yoga first appeared in 2014 at the Burning Man festival in Nevada. The first two beer yoga schools began operating in Berlin, Germany and Sydney, Australia, and now the movement is starting to expand, with new schools in Bangkok, New York, and Marina's Moscow studio. What could be better than grabbing a few drinks with your friends, meeting new people, and sipping on some beer while fine-tuning your downward dog?
