The Golden Globes 2019 Nominations Predictions

Awards season is almost here—get ready. The the 76th annual Golden Globes will air on Sunday, January 6, at 8 p.m. on NBC. The Huff Post explains that awards honor the best of the best in TV and film, as selected by international journalists who cover entertainment and are based in Southern California. On Thursday, Golden Globes nominations were announced at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills. The Huff Post predicts that box office hits like “Black Panther and “A Star Is Born” will likely battle “If Beale Street Could Talk” and “First Man” in the Best Picture, Drama category. They added, "Let’s not forget about TV with newcomers like “Killing Eve” and “Pose” potentially competing for trophies alongside critical darlings “The Handmaid’s Tale” and “The Crown.” The awards will be hosted by Andy Samberg and Sandra Oh.
