According to a report by Reuters, on Friday, leaders of France and Japan attempted to avert a diplomatic row over the Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi alliance, meeting for bilateral talks in the wake of the arrest of its Chairman Carlos Ghosn in Japan. French President Emmanuel Macron reportedly met with Japan's Prime Minister Shinzo Abe to discuss the situation at the G20 summit in Buenos Aires.
