During a recent interview with The Guardian, actor Nicolas Cage spoke about his connection to Superman, a character he was set to play in the 1990s, but the project never came to fruition. When asked if he would play Superman in the future Cage responds, “Oh, I think my Superman days are long gone.” Comicbook.com reports the interviewer then commented that Cage would make a good villain in the world of Superman, and the actor lit up with excitement. Cage says, “Oh, that would be GREAT. I'd make a great Lex Luthor!”
