Hot Yoga Gunman Previously Arrested For Accosting Women

According to a report by Newser, the man who murdered two women in a Florida yogo studio on Friday, has been accused of violence against women before. 40 year-old Scott Paul Beierle, who also wounded five people in the attack before killing himself, was previously arrested in 2012 for sexually harassing two women at Florida State University. Newser reports that Beierle wrote on his Facebook page's About section, "As hard as you try, you can not escape your destiny.

  • 1 In 4 Women Use cannabis To Ease Menopause Symptoms

    More women are beginning to use cannabis as a way to manage some symptoms of menopause. Roughly one in four women in a survey said they had used or currently were using cannabis to manage their menopause. According to UPI, fewer than the one in five reported they were using more traditional treatments such as hormone therapy. The findings are according to a study shared at the 2020 Annual Meeting of the North American Menopause Society. Fifty-four percent of women respondents said they experienced hot flashes and night sweats. 69% of respondents eported genitourinary symptoms and 27% said they had insomnia. About 27% of those surveyed reported using cannabis to manage symptoms, including hot flashes and night sweats.
