Following Wildfire, Paradise Residents Wonder If They Can Rebuild

Paradise, California is a town of about 27,000 in the Sierra Nevada foothills of Northern California. Last Thursday, the Camp Fire raged through the town, reducing entire neighborhoods to rubble along with the business district and other communities. Despite the devastation from the fire, the town has vowed to rebuild, says Reuters. One resident said, “We consider ourselves survivors, and we will come back from the ashes." While rebuilding will be a lot of work, residents who love the town say that the hard work will be worth it.
