    According to Reuters, the price of gold hit an eight month high. The trading price of gold hit its price high back in May 2018 when stocks on Wall Street were experiencing market corrections. Back then, the price peaked at $1,310 an ounce, before falling. But now, US gold futures are trading at $1,308.90 per ounce. The price of crude oil also rose on the day. Brent crude oil futures rose gained $1.39, rising to $61.32 a barrel, while West Texas Intermediate crude futures added $1.32, bringing the price per barrel to $53.31.

    According to Reuters, the CSIS on Monday published a report that said that one of the 20 undeclared ballistic missile operating bases in North Korea, serves as a missile headquarters. The discovery of an undeclared missile headquarters comes three days after U.S. President Donald Trump announced on Friday that he “looks forward” to another summit to discuss denuclearization with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un. CSIS said that the base has never been declared by North Korea and as a result “does not appear to be the subject of denuclearization negotiations.”
