George Lopez Accused of Assaulting Man Who Said 'MAGA'

According to Newser, George Lopez has been charged with battery after sighting with an apparent Trump supporter in New Mexico. The alleged assault happened at a Hooters in October and the still-unidentified victim filmed the encounter. According to police, Lopez says he was minding his own business with the crew of his upcoming faith-based film Walking With Herb when the other man involved in the encounter baited Lopez by putting an arm on the actor's shoulder and saying, "MAGA." When the man tried filming Lopez and company leaving the restaurant later, the actor apparently admits to reaching for the phone and grabbing the man.
