Kathie Lee Gifford Is Leaving The ‘Today’ Show

According to SF Gate, TV talk show host Kathie Lee Gifford is leaving the “Today” Show. Gifford's exit comes after co-hosting the fourth hour of the NBC morning news show for over a decade. The TV personality's exit was announced to staff on Tuesday via a memo from NBC News President Noah Oppenheim that said: “It is with mixed emotions that I share the news Kathie Lee Gifford has decided it’s time to leave TODAY". Oppenheim went on to say that Gifford “is generously staying with us through the show’s next anniversary, April 7, 2019". Gifford has been hosting the final hour of the “Today” show since 2008.
