First Two U.S. Soldiers Identified From Remains Returned By North Korea

Description

According to a report by Reuters, on Monday, the US military identified the first two American troops from 55 boxes of human remains from the Korean War that were returned to the US in July. The identities are reportedly expected to be officially announced in the coming days, after the solders' relatives have been privately informed. Reuters reports that the identifications will chip away at the 7,699 U.S. troops who the U.S. military claims are still unaccounted for over half a century after the Korean War.
