Dashcam footage provided courtesy of Belarussian viral video site Onliner captured the moment that a daring cow hatched an escape plot and jumped off the back of a truck being driven down a highway in Minsk on Wednesday. The cow then kept calm and walked off the road to greener pastures. The driver of the truck had to call the Emergency Ministry to help tie the bovine to a tree and bring her back onto the truck.
Two workmen at a scrap metal site in Yaroslavl found a novel – and terrifying – way to pass the working day. Suspended above the ground by a crane, with a metal claw attachment, one man proceeds to “fly” through the air as though on a theme park ride, spreading his arms out while his colleague is operating the machine and spinning the claw around. The video was captured by an eyewitness working at a car mechanic shop next to the site. Fortunately, the flying workman survived the dangerous stunt unscathed.
A person with paralysis was able walk at Hanover's CeBIT expo, Sunday, with the help of an exoskeleton created by Ekso Bionics and Vodafone. The patient can move the robot utilising his torso by pressing two buttons and shifting his weight from left to right. According to Sebastian Erhardt, the individual testing the exoskeleton, the process feels very close to sensation of walking for real. The exoskeleton uses technology that connects the suit to Vodafone's Internet of Things (IoT), improving its operational qualities. Hundreds of gallons of foam fire retardant spilled onto the streets around San Jose International Airport, Friday, after a fire alarm system malfunctioned at a private hangar. The foam oozed forth from the hangar submerging cars, street furniture and trees as well as closing several blocks around the airport. The company responsible for the spill, Signature Flight Support, has informed authorities that it will take care of the cleanup. In the meantime, there was a huge foam party on the streets of San Jose.
