HBO Hope you're not too tired from the epic "Battle of the Bastards" 'cause Game of Thrones isn't done with you yet. If you can believe it, Sunday's bloody masterpiece of an episode , which found Jon Snow ( Kit Harington ) and Ramsay Bolton ( Iwan Rheon ) FINALLY facing off, was not the end of the season, but the set-up for the HBO hit's season six finale, which airs on June 26. And while it looks like the show might be returning to its trend of a bit of a calmer finale following a doozy of a penultimate episode, there's still A LOT to digest from the trailer for the finale, titled "The Winds of Winter," including a long-awaited reunion and yet another great scene between Dany ( Emilia Clarke ) and Tyrion ( Peter Dinklage ).
This week sees Marvel's Agents of SHIELD hit the 100-episode mark, which fans are assuming will bring the series' most exciting moments yet. 'Jessica Jones' and 'Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D are both Marvel Netflix shows that take place in the same cinematic universe. So far, fans have only known this through small references placed in both shows, but the second season trailer for 'Jessica Jones' gives a pretty clear hint that there may be a crossover between the shows. Screenrant.com wrote, "In the aftermath of the car crash, Jessica... actually died -- but was brought back... In 'Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D'... it was... revealed that Coulson was brought back to life after undergoing a horrific [experiment.]" Fans have created their own theories from this connection.
Big things are happening in the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Phase 3 heads toward next year's epic crossover event, Avengers: Infinity War. However, after the first intstallment of Infinity War comes the much-anticipated Captain Marvel movie, which will introduce a much bigger storyline to the MCU, in the form of the Kree-Skrull War. We may see some early lead-ins to that conflict being laid out, as Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. looks like it will be bringing back The Kree for a season 5 storyline.
Photos have been release on Instagram from the Game of Thrones Season 6, Episode 7. The series is only four episodes away from this season's finale. Fans are left guessing after the show has passed the story line that author George R.R. Martin left off with his novels. In some ways, the television show has chartered new territory completely different than the plot of the books. The show, which has an enormous fan base, has left viewers surprised left and right.
