Major retailers such as LG, E-Mart and Hyundai took part, allowing consumers to snap up some discount goods in a virtual shopping mall. The project, run by Skonec Entertainment, aims to spread the idea of VR shopping. Creators even say that shops tailored for individual consumers based on shopping data are a distinct possibility in the future.
