Skittles Puts On Broadway Musical Instead Super Bowl Ad

According to Business Insider, Super Bowl commercials have become as big of a tradition as the game itself. However, this year, some some brands are preferring to to put on wacky publicity stunts instead of paying $5 million for a 30-second commercial. Skittles is putting on a one-day-only, 30 minute-long Broadway musical titled "Skittles Commercial: The Broadway Musical" on the day of the Super Bowl in New York City. The musical was a self-deprecating comment on advertising itself, starring actor Michael C. Hall.
