On Saturday and Sunday (November 23/24), the first two joint races of the DTM and the Japanese SUPER GT will be held at the foot of the famous Mount Fuji. Loïc Duval talks about the “Dream Race”, the Fuji International Speedway and motorsport in Japan.
After winning the title early at the Nürburgring, René Rast travels as the new champion to the DTM finale at the Hockenheimring (October 4–6). Audi will not only be competing against its DTM rivals Aston Martin and BMW, but also the guests from the Japanese Super GT Championship.
For Mike Rockenfeller, the DTM race at the Nürburgring (September 14/15) is a home round. “I grew up near the circuit and have contested so many races there in my life that it always feels like coming home,” says the 2013 DTM Champion.
Audi has already celebrated seven victories in the DTM at the Lausitzring. Leader René Rast on the upcoming race at the Lausitzring (24th / 25th August), where the DTM will hold its 500th race.
The second half of the 2019 DTM season continues at Brands Hatch in Great Britain from August 10–11. Local hero Jamie Green shares more about his home round on the fast circuit located in Kent, where the DTM runs on the longer Grand Prix circuit for the second time.
