    Business insider is reporting that mega-retailer Walmart is offering thousands of deals to counter Amazon Prime Day. E-commerce giant Amazon launched Prime Day in 2015, and it's now one of the company's biggest shopping event of the year, only behind Cyber Monday. The event will be held on July 15 and 16 this year.     Amazon announced new perks for subscribers to its Business Prime offering. Besides unlimited free two-day shipping, Amazon is expanding the perk for same-day and one-day free shipping. According to Business Insider, the faster shipping times are only for orders that total $35 or more. It is also only for businesses located in a select 8,000 cities and towns in the United States.

    According to Kinja Deals, Amazon has announced it will be discontinuing its 20% preorder discount on physical video games on August 28. The online retailer will be replacing the existing program with a $10 Prime member credit on select games. Today is the last day to lock in your orders to save 20%. You won’t be charged until the game ships, so you can always cancel later if you change your mind.
