Twitter are working on ways to improve their users' experience and are currently testing a new feature called 'Snooze' which enables you to silence notifications.

    A quick peek into the Digital Trends’ archives reveals a 2013 article about how Twitter was considering introducing an edit tool for tweets. Three years later, in 2016, Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey responded to increasing calls for an edit function by telling the community that the company was “thinking a lot” about introducing the feature, even going so far as to say that “a form of edit is def needed.” But Monday, Dorsey said it again. At a talk at the Indian Institute of Technology in New Delhi he said: “We have been considering [an edit button] for a while,” adding that it needed to be done “in the right way.”
