Students hold protest against Kashmir status removal, lockdown


Students, many from Jammu and Kashmir, hold a sit-in protest in New Delhi after India removes the region's special constitutional status and imposes an indefinite communications blackout.

The students gathered on a patio behind the student union before entering the building for a "lay-in." Wilson was president of the United States from 1913 to 1921 and led the country during the first world war. He oversaw the resegregation of multiple agencies of the federal government and was a vocal advocate for the Ku Klux Klan. Wilson also did not admit any black students to Princeton during his tenure as president of the school – despite Harvard and Yale having admitted them decades prior.
