Products from China that imitate famous brands have invaded the shelves of supermarkets and shops in Caracas and across Venezuela, offering consumers a much cheaper alternative for household goods as the country’s inflation skyrockets. This super-strong robotic 'dog' will be soon available at your local electronics store. Chinese firm 'Unitree' said it was ready to start selling the robotic companion for $25,000. The robotic four-legged friend, called Laikago, can walk on a variety of terrain and drag heavy objects, moving via remote control and autonomously based on a slew of complex mathematical equations. Laikago, which looks very similar to a robot presented by American robotics company Boston Dynamics several years ago, does use a very limited form of AI.
The sounds of meowing coming from a pipe alerted a local to the plight of a feline stuck somewhere deep underground in the Russian town of Voronezh on September 25. The trapped kitten was discovered by a resident of a nearby house, who first investigated the pipe before calling for help. Some workers nearby came to help out in the rescue efforts and they soon discovered that a cat was indeed stuck in the pipe at a depth of about 5 feet and organized a rescue effort to pull her out.
Japanese civic group Kitten Cafe Sanctuary partnered with the Yoro Railway Company to take the increasingly 'paw-pular' cat-cafe concept to the next level, placing a rescue cat cafe Sanctuary on rails and launching the world’s first cat train cafe in the process.
An unusual duo, a cute husky and tiny black baby kitten have become such good friends that they are now drinking buddies, literally. The pair of extreme opposites shared a bottle of milk after playing together in their owner's home in Fillmore, Saskatchwean on Saturday. The husky called Chaos and kitten Tipsy were filmed by their owners romping around before taking turns to drink some milk.
