Music show: French jazz quintet Free River releases powerful second album

Mixing soul, gospel, spoken word and new world music, French jazz quintet Free River has been making a name for itself over the past five years. Singer-songwriter Emma Lamadji tells FRANCE 24's Florence Villeminot about the band's powerful second album, "Real Beginning". Also, Lana Del Rey and Bon Iver drop two hotly anticipated records true to their trademark styles. And French tennis legend-turned-pop star Yannick Noah releases his 11th studio album, "Bonheur Indigo".

    France-based American jazz trumpeter Hermon Mehari has released a powerful second record called "A Change for the Dreamlike". Recorded in the French countryside during the first lockdown, it's more personal than his 2017 debut record "Bleu". He describes it as a "modern mixtape of dreams".
