The adaptive, glare-free Intelli-Lux LED Matrix Light, which the Corsa brought to the small car segment in 2019, has been further developed and now comprises 14 LED elements.“High tech” can also be found under the hood. The Corsa Electric is now available with a more powerful motor as well as a new battery that enables a driving range of up to 405 kilometres in the WLTP cycle. In addition, the new Corsa will soon become the first Opel with a 48-volt hybrid system. With power units ranging from all-electric to hybrid and highly efficient combustion engines, the new Corsa therefore offers customers an unrivalled choice of drivetrains.

The Opel Experimental celebrates its debut in front of an international audience in Munich. The sleek silhouette of the Experimental stands out through the addition of exterior lighting and bold contrasting graphics instead of chrome, adding personality and sophistication to the already impressive proportions. The dramatic tapering profile has a bold and pure design with clean surfacing to enhance the efficient battery-electric crossover’s stunning presence. The gliding silhouette of the Opel Experimental is set around very efficient packaging while the concept car also offers clever and optimised aero solutions. Aero-flaps at the front and rear increase aerodynamic efficiency as does the rear end diffusor. It extends or retracts depending on the prevailing driving situation.At the front, the new illuminated Opel Blitz, which is also celebrating its motor show debut in Munich, sits at the centre of the signature Opel Compass. It is flanked by the elongated wing signature lighting on the horizontal axis while the illuminated centre crease adds a bold statement. This then repeats at the rear with the distinctive compass signature braking light created by edge lighting technology and sophisticated glass transparency. This combines with bold Opel lettering – instead of the Blitz logo at the rear – to form the central element. Around the front compass sits the next generation 4D Opel Vizor.
A NEW BLITZ IS BORN – unter diesem Motto stellte Opel heute in Rüsselsheim die sechste, komplett neu konstruierte Generation des Astra vor. In Anwesenheit von 180 Journalisten und vor rund fünfhundert weiteren Medienvertretern im Livestream präsentierte der neue CEO Uwe Hochgeschurtz an seinem ersten Arbeitstag für Opel den Newcomer. Unterstützt wurde der Opel-Chef dabei von Liverpool-Coach Jürgen Klopp. Der Opel-Markenbotschafter zeigte sich vom neuen Astra begeistert. Bereits im Sommer hatte Klopp beim Besuch des Opel-Designstudios die Gelegenheit, mit einem Vorserienmodell einige Kilometer zu fahren. Erstmals gibt es den Bestseller mit dem Blitz nun auch elektrifiziert. Gleich zum Bestellstart im Oktober ist der neue Astra auch als Plug-in-Hybrid verfügbar. Bereits 2023 kommt mit dem Opel Astra‑e zusätzlich eine rein batterie-elektrische Variante auf den Markt. Darüber hinaus gibt es die neue Astra-Generation mit hocheffizienten Benzin- und Dieselmotoren. Der Kunde hat die freie Wahl. Die Preise für den neuen Astra beginnen bei 22.465 Euro.
A NEW BLITZ IS BORN – under this motto Opel presented the all-new sixth generation of the Astra in Rüsselsheim today. In the presence of 180 journalists and in front of around 500 other media representatives via livestream, the new CEO Uwe Hochgeschurtz presented the newcomer on his first day at Opel. The Opel boss was supported by Liverpool manager Jürgen Klopp. The Opel brand ambassador was thrilled by the new Astra. Klopp had the opportunity to drive a pre-production model for a few kilometres during a visit to the Opel Design studios in the summer. For the first time, the bestseller with the Blitz is now electrified. The new Astra will be available as plug-in hybrid when the order books open in October. The purely battery-electric Opel Astra-e will additionally come onto the market in 2023. The new Astra generation is also available with highly efficient petrol and diesel engines. So customers can select their drivetrain of choice. Prices for the new Astra start at €22,465.
