Pink Floyd is releasing its first new music in almost three decades to raise money for the people of Ukraine, the band announced Thursday. “Hey Hey Rise Up” features Pink Floyd members David Gilmour and Nick Mason, with vocals from Ukrainian singer Andriy Khlyvnyuk of the band BoomBox. Roger Waters, who left the band in the 1980s, is not involved.
Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba said Thursday he expected NATO members to send Kyiv the weapons it needs but insisted they had to act quickly before Russia launches another major offensive. "Either you help us now and I'm speaking about days, not weeks, or your help will come too late," Kuleba said after meeting NATO foreign ministers in Brussels.
Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov stated on March 25 that the West would not be able to isolate Russia from the world as it has many friends, allies and partners. The diplomat stressed a meeting between Putin and Zelenskyy will be necessary as soon as there is clarity on all vital issues for Moscow.
