  • The US Trade Deficit Reaches A 5-month Low

    According to Business Insider, the monthly US trade deficit narrowed in November after increasing for five straight months, including with China. The Commerce Department said Tuesday that the overall gap between the number of goods the US imports and exports fell more than 11% to $49.3 billion from a $55.5 billion a month earlier. The US-China trade deficit also shrank $2.8 billion to $35.4 billion in November, likely affected by the tariffs on hundreds of billions of dollars worth products Washington and Beijing levied last year.
