    Bulgarians mark the day of Saint Haralampi, patron saint of beekeepers, by bringing jars of honey to be blessed in the Church of the Blessed Virgin in the southwestern town of Blagoevgrad. Believers then take the honey home and use it as medicine throughout the year.
