With the third generation of the Audi RS 3 Sportback and the second generation of the RS 3 Sedan, Audi is relaunching the sporty top-of-the-line pair in the compact segment. The award-winning five-cylinder engine now has more torque, making it even more powerful. In combination with the RS torque splitter installed for the first time in an Audi, the A3 series’ emotional flagship model offers performance and lateral dynamics on a whole new level. The market launch will take place at the end of October – at prices starting at 60,000 euros for the RS 3 Sportback and 62,000 euros for the RS 3 Sedan.
441 kW (600 PS) and 800 Nm (590.0 lb-ft) of torque - the new Audi RS6 Avant combines impressive performance with top-of-the-line equipment. It offers the everyday practicability that is typical for the Avant and positions itself clearly at the top of the A6 family with its distinct RS design. The new Audi RS6 Avant will go on sale in dealerships in Germany and other European countries at the end of 2019. The basic price will be EUR 117,500."Throughout our 25-year RS history, the Audi RS6 Avant has been one of our absolute icons that has a large global fan base," says Oliver Hoffmann, Managing Director of Audi Sport GmbH. In doing so, we will be tapping into a new market with huge potential and generating further global growth."The new Audi RS6 Avant is no wolf in sheep's clothing - it shows off its distinct design with great confidence. Aside from the front doors, the roof and the luggage compartment cover, all body panels are RS-specific. The wheel arches, which are flared by around 40 millimeters (1.6 in) on each side, and wheels with a diameter of up to 22 inches emphasize the sporty character of the high-performance Avant, which measures roughly five meters (16.4 ft) in length. The new hood with powerdome, the striking lateral air inlets with vertical wings, and the wide flat Singleframe leave no doubt as to the unconditional drive of the RS icon. RS-specific HD Matrix LED headlights with Audi laser light and darkened bezels are available as an alternative to the standard LED headlights.
The new Audi RS 6 Avant GT is the pinnacle of the model series. The special edition is packed with exclusive details for both the exterior and the interior. An impressive pass-through roof edge spoiler, redefined diffuser, and 22-inch wheels in a distinctive design underscore its top position in the model series. The interior features high-quality bucket seats, a fresh color combination, and individual numbering in the center console as exclusive accents. Lightweight adjustable coilover suspension unique to the RS 6 Avant GT and a reworked quattro sport differential on the rear axle sharpen the driving experience. The twin-turbocharged eight-cylinder engine in a V-layout has an output of 463 kW (630 PS) and delivers 850 Nm of torque from 2,300 to 4,500 rpm. Delivery of the Audi RS 6 Avant GT will begin in the second quarter 2024, the price starts at 219,355 euro.
Twelve years after the premiere of the first Audi R8 GT, Audi Sport GmbH is launching the second edition of this exclusive super sports car: the new Audi R8 Coupé V10 GT RWD. The 5.2 liter, naturally aspirated V10 engine’s output is boosted to 456 kW (620 PS) making it the most powerful rear-wheel drive unit in the history of the brand. A new 7-speed dual-clutch transmission for faster shifts and the new Torque Rear driving mode allows drivers to choose their own level of ESC support. This enables controlled and simultaneously precise oversteering. The seven-stage torque rear can be adjusted via the control satellite on the steering wheel. The new R8 GT is limited to 333 units worldwide. New and exclusive exterior and interior features pay homage to the first generation of the R8 GT. These include, for example, sequential numbering, special light alloy wheels, and an interior in a combination of black and red. The new Audi R8 Coupé V10 GT RWD will be available at dealerships from 2023. Prices start at € 225,000.
Even more power, even more fun: the true meaning of “performance” at the Audi Sport GmbH. The new R8 V10 performance RWD is available as a Coupé or Spyder with 30 PS extra, a sporty complement to the R8 V10 performance quattro. This rear-wheel drive sports car, with its mid-mounted engine boasting 419 kW (570 PS) and new technological highlights such as bucket seats, dynamic steering, CFK stabilizers and ceramic disc brakes, is the embodiment of fun driving.The Audi R8 V10 performance RWD (Rear Wheel Drive) is the sporty new cutting edge of serial rear-wheel drive sports cars from Audi. “The Audi R8 V10 RWD really struck a chord with customers right from the start with its rear-wheel drive derived from the R8 LMS racecar and its unfiltered dynamics. Now it has 30 PS and 10 newton meters more, taking the driving experience to a whole new level,” says Sebastian Grams, Managing Director of Audi Sport GmbH. The base versions of both models, the R8 V10 quattro and the R8 V10 RWD as a Coupé and Spyder, will be replaced by the new performance models. This puts the R8 model range more firmly in the top position.
