Residents return after IS losses in east Afghanistan

Description

Afghans in Nangarhar province had seen their share of hardship after war ravaged their country for decades -- but few were prepared for the arrival of the Islamic State group. Now some have begun returning home after Afghan military officials announced that IS's Afghan branch had been completely defeated in Nangarhar.
