Hyundai Motor has unveiled the All-New Hyundai i10 ahead of its launch at the 2019 Frankfurt International Motor Show (IAA). The newest model in the company's i-range features a new dynamic design, as well as a comprehensive connectivity and advanced safety package.Since its introduction in 2008, the i10 has been a success story for Hyundai in Europe. Hyundai Motor is upgrading its Bluelink connected car services technology with a range of new features to enhance the driving experiences of Hyundai customersHyundai’s state-of-the-art Bluelink combines intelligent automotive and IT technologies in order to provide greater comfort, safety and convenience for drivers. In addition to a refined user interface, the upgraded Bluelink offers a range of new benefits and services for Hyundai customers, including Connected Routing, Last Mile Navigation and live parking information, and a new user profile feature.Hyundai’s upgraded Bluelink features a new user interface (UI) with a black screen and updated blue icons that display the time, weather and, if selected by the user, map guidance.The map UI now offers a choice between three colour schemes and an enhanced dark night mode. It displays a range of GPS-based information to aid drivers, including the current speed of the vehicle and information about traffic density.For a more tranquil driving experience, users can also select from different audible atmospheres called “Sounds of Nature”. These include “calm ocean waves”, “rainy day”, “open-air café”, “warm fireplace” and “snowy village”.
Hyundai is expanding its Bluelink telematics service to include new and useful functions that make the customer's driving experience even more pleasant.Bluelink is a connectivity offering from Hyundai and combines intelligent vehicle with online technologies to offer the driver more comfort, safety and convenience. In addition to a revised user interface in the infotainment system, new services are available, including connected routing, last mile navigation and driver profiles.Together with the new and improved telematics services, a completely revised user interface with a new start screen, adapted symbols and improved menu navigation is used for the infotainment system. In addition, for a quieter driving experience, various pre-installed "sounds of nature" can be played back via the infotainment system for the first time: "Sound of the sea", "rainy day", "street café", "warm fireplace" and "snow-covered village".
All services included in the previous Bluelink Connected Care, Remote and Guidance subscription packages are now offered complimentary on a non-trial basis for new buyers with Bluelink+ (4G LTE network and technology dependent).ii Bluelink+ is launching with the new 2023 IONIQ 6 and on all future Bluelink-equipped Hyundai models starting with the 2024 model line-up.i By standardizing access to top safety, maintenance, and remote technology features, Hyundai is offering a complimentary industry-leading connectivity program for all new owners.
