India citizenship bill: Police and protesters stand off in 5th day of clashes against "anti-Muslim" law

Description

In India, police and protesters clash in stand-offs after a fifth day of protests against a new citizenship law. The new law only non-Muslims from 3 neighbouring countries to Indian citizenship if facing religious persecution. Critics say this is part of the BJP government's nationalist agenda to marginalise Muslims and violates secular principles in the Constitution.
