Beto O'Rourke Lost The Debate

Description

Tuesday night, CNN hosted the first part of the second round of Democratic 2020 Debates. Political pundits are still trying to determine who won the debate. A clear loser has emerged. According to Politico, virtually every insider and analyst says Beto O’Rourke lost the debate. He simply couldn’t take advantage of his limited opportunities to speak, including his opening statement. He failed to ignite the spark that attracted Democrats during his disastrous Senate bid. Simply put, Beto bombed. Terry Sullivan, campaign manager for Marco Rubio, was asked about O'Rourke's performance. "Beto O’Rourke lost. It turns out that he’s only charismatic and inspiring when the alternative is Ted Cruz."
