Ras Al Khaimah’s Jebel Jais, the highest peak in the UAE, is also home to Jebel Jais Flight - the world’s longest zipline as certified by Guinness World Records. This has seen the UAE’s most northern emirate rocket into the major league of global adventure tourism and cementing Ras Al Khaimah as the region’s leading adventure tourism destination.Already established as a bucket list crowd puller and named as the Middle East’s leading tourist attraction in the 2018 World Travel Awards, the 2.83 km long zipline, which was designed and built by adventure specialists Toroverde in partnership with Ras Al Khaimah Tourism Development Authority, gives thrill-seekers and adrenaline junkies the chance to travel at speeds up to 150 kph at a height of 1,680 metres above sea level - the closest experience to flying like a falcon that a human being can get.But the adventure, excitement and open-air freedom goes beyond the zipline experience. The Jeep brand, following announcement of a sponsorship agreement with Toroverde, is now the “on the ground” automotive partner of the world’s longest zipline, ensuring that the adventure begins right from the beginning of the journey with a fleet of the latest Jeep Wrangler models providing highly dependable transport and logistical support. For nearly eight decades the Jeep brand has been indelibly linked to freedom, adventure, authenticity and passion - core values that are embedded in the DNA of every Jeep vehicle. Throughout its history, Jeep owners have learned that “Go Anywhere. Do Anything.” is a way of life, not just a slogan and that the Jeep badge stands for more than just a brand - in truth, it’s a badge of honour.
