In US capital, teen honors victims of 'every day' gun violence

Description

On the brick wall of an arts center in a Washington alley, a mural depicts the faces of five African-American teens shot dead in 2017 and 2018 in the United States capital. In a country where spectacular mass shootings have become more frequent, the mural is a reminder of a far more common gun crime, in which African Americans are too often the victims.
