This adorable Amur tiger cub has made an unlikely new, and much smaller friend. The cub, named 'Sherkhan' after the tiger in the jungle book, played with his new friend, a ferret named 'Rokki', much to the amazement of his caretaker. The amusing pair built on their friendship in Shkotovo, in Russia's Far East, where Sherkhan is being raised. Making friends with other animals apparently runs in the family. Sherkhan is the son of a very famous tiger who hit global headlines after he made friends with a goat, 'Timur,' at the Primorski Safari Park in November 2015.

After ten years of hard work and a large financial outlay, his business has started to take off."We started ten years ago with three goats and now we have about 450. We make rustic cheeses and distribute them in the capital. The market demands a good quality product. It is selling very well," Aquesolo tells Efe. Joanne Rogers passed away Thursday in Pittsburgh. She was an accomplished concert pianist and wife of beloved children's television host, Mr. Rogers. Joanne and Fred Rogers were married for more than 50 years. Born Sara Joanne Byrd in 1928, Joanne Rogers met her future husband at Rollins College in Florida. She is survived by two sons, James Byrd Rogers and John Rogers. HuffPost reports that no cause of death has been given. She was 92 years old.
Former British spy and Soviet secret agent George Blake has died in Moscow. He was 98. CNN reports a spokesperson for the Russian foreign intelligence agency SVR said Blake was 'highly respected and appreciated.' Blake used his position as an officer in the UK's Secret Intelligence Service, also known as MI6, to spy for the Soviet Union. His secret work for the USSR humiliated the country's intelligence establishment when it was discovered at the height of the Cold War. In the UK he is perhaps best known for his daring escape from London's Wormwood Scrubs prison in 1966.
