Indian farmers say they have no choice but to burn stubble despite alarming pollution levels

As they light fire to their fields, farmers in Punjab say they have no alternative to stubble burning to prepare their farm for the next crop. India's top court has ordered a complete halt to stubble burning around Delhi, a major contributor to lethal smog that on Tuesday kept the metropolis of 20 million people choking in air rated "very poor".
